Nanci and I have been great friends since I ran in to her in Pegge Hopper's Studio in Honolulu mucho years ago. When Nanci told me that she was working on this project, I couldn't have thought of a better person for this project. She has always been able to express herself through her art....and her great love and sensitivity to her sons and their needs made this the perfect partnership. All the best on another successful adventure! Love you, Cathy

Nanci has and always will be one of my favorite people. We met in Hawaii in the mid 80's and gravitated to each other as we are both "East Coast Gals". Nanci truly connects with her soul and teaches and heals others through her art.

It is a delight to follow her career and to see what is next on her journey.

Cheers,

I have known this fabulous woman since our days together at art school. Back then we werent always the most supportive of each other - competition is tough in art school to say the least. Fortunately I discovered that its best to throw those kinds of things aside and work with and learn from people who can teach you different ways to see. Nanci has always been the consumate artists' artist - seeking knowledge and finding ways to share her story through her own visual journey. Its strange to know that she didnt believe her work was joyful as I always felt it was. One thing is for certain it has always been inspiring and this book proves it! Congratulations to you Nanci, for I know several people whove been touched by this book and to your cousin Ellen - brava for not giving in to the artists nature to second guess themselves. I think its been a wonderful discovery not only for the two of you but to anyone who reads this book and especially for those who need it. Be well and thanks. - Laurette

I met Nanci years ago at a Printmaking Workshop in Florence Italy. It is very inspiring to see how she is using her setback with cancer and her art to educate and help children understand what their Mom's, Grandmothers, etc. are going through with the disease. Pictures always help... the "Art that Heals".

Bravo,
