I was there, and it was a good film - dramatic, real, touching (and funny in parts).
Thousands of New Jerseyans have ancestors who "disappeared" or were "sent away." Turns out many ended up at Snake Hill. And what happened to them after they got there….
Engrossing film about a sadly forgotten period in history. I will never drive the NJ Turnpike in that area again without looking out the window, thinking about those thousands of people who suffered , and feeling a cold chil.
