A New York attorney arrested in Red Bank last month in a bizarre case of alleged police impersonation has been busted again, this time for making lewd comments to a Little Silver teenager, the Asbury Park Press reports.
The latest incident occurred shortly after 5p on April 24, 10 days after Richard Braunstein was arrested on charges of talking a 24-year-old woman out of her car under the guise of a police officer.
He was freed on $5,000 bail after the first arrest and was being held pending $2,500 this morning, the Press reports.

On April 24, a 17-year-old Little Silver girl told police she and a friend were at car wash at the Shell Station on the corner of Shrewsbury Avenue and Newman Springs Road two days earlier.
The girl said they had some trouble with the car wash as they were getting ready to leave around 5:15 p.m., so her friend went into the store to get help while she waited in the car, said Capt. Stephen McCarthy.
That’s when a man - later identified as Braunstein - approached her and made the lewd comments, the captain said.
When the girl’s friend returned to the vehicle with a gas station worker, Braunstein left, said McCarthy.
After an investigation by Sgt. Elliot Ramos, Braunstein was charged with harassment, a disorderly persons offense. The 50-year-old was taken into custody by Eatontown police Saturday, then turned over to Red Bank officers.
After processing, he was sent to the county jail.
Braunstein’s bio and photo have been removed from the website of the law firm of Snitow Kanfer Holtzer & Millus, the firm that Red Bank police said was where he worked at the time of the first arrest.
