Yes, Thorsten Veblen is surely rolling in his grave. But you know what? He’s been spinning for years. One more taste of the Hamilton Jewelers-sponsored fleet of Ferraris event in downtown Red Bank on Sunday isn’t going to significantly boost his RPMs.
Alright, we’re rationalizing. Still, the above video will be of interest to some, as evidenced by he turnout at the event it depicts. That’s good enough reason to post it.
The video is credited to “ALT Films… home of the production company ALTproductions, and Michael Altino Films.” Don’t know who they are, but somebody from Altino Films operation posted a link to the vid in a comment this afternoon, which is how we found it.

Very cool video!
I have also posted some videos of the event to Vimeo:

I'm curious, does anyone know how many cars actually showed up? We came by at 330 PM to see them, and there were 5 cars left. For an event that was billed to be from 1230 to 5, and with 75 to 85 cars, we were pretty disappointed. They were supposed to be on Broad from Front to Harding, and down Monmouth to Drummond, and not one car made it onto Monmouth. So much for Ferrari owners supporting charity.
i don't know how many cars came but there were a lot. unfortunately, i was in my office all day working, but could see the cars outside my window. most of them headed out by 3pm. it was supposed to rain all day, but the rain didn't come until late afternoon. i think that the threat of rain kept some ferraris home and also was the reason that they left early.
there were 60 cars there at 12:00pm
they got there before noon there was almost 80. it was amazing when they roared into town they left around 330…… because of weather forecast… it was a great event and the police were great !
