Apparently, you still haven’t read the article in the first item of the chain mail you posted. Legal immigrants have to wait 5 years to get welfare. Illegals can never get it. No one is coming for the welfare state.

Since the 90s, we’ve had decreases in crime (http://www.ojp.gov/bjs/glance.htm#Crime), teen pregnancy (http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5812a5.htm?s_cid=mm5812a5_e), welfare dependency (http://aspe.hhs.gov/hsp/indicators08/execsum.shtml). Tax consumption does seem to be skyrocketing lately, but the bulk of it seems to be going to banks, large corporations and insurance companies, not immigrants.

That map is cool. Compare it to this map (http://www.lehman.cuny.edu/deannss/geography/images2/mzonemin.png) and it looks like murders occur more frequently in neighborhoods with a higher percentage of minorities. I’d want some data on income levels and prevalence of guns ownership before drawing any conclusions about race causing crime, though.

Further, the pre-1920 wretched refuse did not come for the welfare state. And the post-1920 lockdown on immigration was the best thing that could happen to immigrants. It forced them to assimilate. Today’s SOTB crew has less reason to so as their numbers grow and even now resist it. “Press one for english”?? WTF is that? There is no melting pot today and attempts to encourage assimilation are vilified by leftists and diversicrats everywhere.

And where these people DO assimilate tends to be the welfare/petty criminal underclass UNLIKE the “refuse” of the days of yore.

I actually started reading the attached links, and it was clear that you hadn’t read them. Read the article in #1, and you’ll find that it’s talking about legal immigrants, not illegals. That article says, “Illegal immigrants are barred from the following federal public benefits: grants, contracts, loans, licenses, retirement, welfare, health, disability, public or assisted housing, post secondary education, food assistance, and unemployment benefits. States are barred from providing state or locally funded benefits to illegal immigrants unless a state law is enacted granting such authority.” That contradicts items 2, 3 and 9 in your list

I’ve heard about black on black violence, too, but I couldn’t find any facts on it.

You seem to imply that the violence rate among blacks in Montana is lower than in urban areas. I couldn’t find any facts to back that up either. If that were true, it would seem to indicate that the higher crime rate among blacks is a result of where people live, not the color of their skin or the music they listen to.
