BIG GUSTS COULD CAUSE TROUBLE

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of the day Wednesday, when westerly winds of 20- to 25-miles-per-hour are expected, bolstered by gusts up to 45 mph.

That could mean downed tree limbs and power lines, resulting in hazards and power outages.

The winds should ease around 8p, the NWS says.

Here’s the general weather outlook for the coming week:

Today: A chance of showers before 8am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 62. Windy, with a west wind between 18 and 26 mph, with gusts as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. West wind between 9 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 55. West wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind between 8 and 11 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 56.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 58.
