7/2/11

-Brenda S. Thomson, 50, of Rumson was arrested and charged with D.W.I. by Ptl. Hostrup.

7/3/11

-Todd R. Gundersen, 32, of Middletown, NJ was arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. (Heroin) and possession of a hypodermic needle by Det. Dykstra. Mr. Gundersen was also held on outstanding warrants for contempt of court.

-Bruce A. Thompson 2nd, 22, of Red Bank, NJ was arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. (Heroin and Marijuana), possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of 2 weapons by Ptl. Hostrup. Mr. Thompson was also held on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court.

-Holly N. Mazza, 20, of Oceanport, NJ was arrested and charged with D.W.I. and various other motor vehicle complaints by Ptl. Hostrup and Officer Henne.

7/5/11

-Unknown actor(s) removed Borough of Fair Haven welcome sign from Borough property located at the Municipal property on River Rd. between Chestnut St. and Lake Ave. Cpl. Waltz took the report. [Editor’s note: Borough officials said recently that the sign had been recovered, though no arrests were made for its theft.]

7/12/11

-Patricia M. Toscano, 53, of Fairfield, NJ was arrested and charged with D.W.I. by Ptl. Hostrup.

-Melynda C. Wilson, 28, of Cape May, NJ was arrested by Ptl. Patton and held on multiple warrants for contempt of court.

7/19/11

-Rebecca E. Engler, 18, of Shrewsbury, NJ was arrested by Det. Dykstra and held on 2 warrants for contempt of court.

7/20/11

-Jose Santana, 60, of Long Branch, NJ was arrested and charged with possession of C.D.S. (marijuana) by Ptl. Hostrup.

7/23/11

-Cornelius Vorel, 60, of Keansburg, NJ was arrested and charged with D.W.I. by Officer Reevey. [Update: the DWI charge was dismissed and Vorel pleaded guilty to reckless driving on August 11, 2011.]

7/24/11

-A report of vandalism was taken from a Second St. resident by Ptl. Lagrotteria. Victim reported that the driver side mirror was removed from his vehicle.

7/30/11

-A pedestrian crossing sign, mounted with a 25 M.P.H. sign was taken from Kemp Ave. Ptl. Hostrup took the report.

7/31/11

-Joseph F. Liberi, 21, of Fair Haven, NJ was arrested by Cpl. Koetzner and held on a warrant for contempt of court.
