IN FAIR HAVEN & RUMSON, IT’S NO CONTEST

By JOHN T. WARD

election_2011_plainRumson Democrat Philip Wagner polled just 17 percent in his bid for a seat on the borough council Tuesday as he was swamped by incumbent Republicans Shaun Broderick and Ben Day Jr.

Mayor John Ekdahl, who drew no opponent, sailed to another term.
