SPRING 2014: EAR-FLAPPING WEATHER

Here’s the look-ahead for the coming week, from the National Weather Service:

  • Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly after 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Tuesday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 63. Breezy, with a south wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Tuesday Night: Showers, mainly before midnight. Low around 33. Breezy, with a northwest wind around 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a north wind 13 to 21 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 36.
  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.
  • Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39.
  • Friday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 52.
  • Friday Night A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Saturday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 57. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
  • Saturday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 59.
