“Everything tastes better fried,” says Jamian LaViola, owner of Jamian’s Food and Drink on Monmouth Street in Red Bank.
Well, sure, why not?
Unlike most cheesecakes, LaViola’s is deep-fried. Served with ice cream and chocolate sauce, it’s unique in texture, temperature and flavor.
His recipes, LaViola says, are “tweaked over time, morphing into what I had in mind,” at which point they’re ready for his customers.
