NY Jets linebacker Quinton Coples is scheduled to play a special guest role in this year’s “Bag a Lunch” fundraising initiative, at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional.
Press release from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School
On Tuesday and Wednesday, October 13 and 14, the Chinese, French, and Spanish National Honor Societies at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School will sponsor their fourth annual “Bag a Lunch” fundraiser; an initiative benefitting Table to Table, a charitable organization that provides meals to impoverished families throughout New Jersey.
Students wishing to participate will be provided with brown paper lunch bags during lunch period on October 13. Their donations – usually the amount they would spend on a single lunch – will be returned in the brown bags to the RFH “Bag a Lunch” Team Captains during lunchtime on October 14.
Table to Table has announced some exciting incentives for this year’s participants. The highest-earning school will receive a visit from New York Jets linebacker Quinton Coples, and the Top Five earning schools will have their school’s logo displayed on the Table to Table trucks for six months.
In addition, any individual who donates over 50 dollars will be eligible for a drawing to win four tickets to a current Broadway hit show.
“It would be wonderful if a large number of RFH students could participate and help us to reach our goal,” said RFH French Teacher Christine Berg. “There are so many families in New Jersey that are helped by the Table to Table initiative.”
