RED BANK: CASINO NIGHT PICKS UP STEAM

Press release from Red Bank Borough Education Foundation

rbbef_casino_night_2016-170x220-9669306Test your luck — and help the Red Bank public schools at the same time — when the Red Bank Borough Education Foundation hosts its Casino Night on Friday, September 30.

Scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Red Bank Elks Lodge #233 (40 West Front Street in Red Bank), the event will fund STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) projects at the borough’s schools. The STEAM curriculum is a priority for schools throughout the country, and the Education Foundation has made it its mission to promote these studies at the Red Bank public schools.

Among the projects funded in previous years was the formation of a STEAM lab at the Red Bank Primary School, dedicated in memory of Foundation co-founder and former Board of Ed member Rosemarie Kopka. The Foundation has also helped purchase Chromebooks for students, and was instrumental in funding a Science Day at the Primary School, a video editing club at the Middle School, and an orchestra strings program at the schools.

Tickets for the Casino Night are $60 per person, which includes $50 in play money plus refreshments (a cash bar will also be available at the event). Tickets can be purchased online here, by calling Kathie Panepinto at (732) 224-1267, or by mailing Susan Berke at 25 Brown Place, Red Bank NJ 07701. Table sponsorships are also available.

Remember: Nothing makes a Red Bank friend happier than to hear "I saw you on Red Bank Green!"
