If this weren’t so serious, it would be a joke. The transparency of it all sickens me. The most qualified person to represent the people - and for so many valid and truly meaningful reasons - is Assemblywoman Mary Pat Angelini, and it’s unfortunate that we won’t have the chance to vote for her this time around. But in any event, any poltician who stands up and cheerleads for a totally and obviously UNqualified candidate (if they can even do it with a straight face) will lose all creditility in the eyes of many.

Fantastic job students and teachers. Thank you for bringing another $3000 into the district. Three out of the top five finalists were from RBMS, that says a lot.

OK - spell check? (I guess the tech course at “ilk” didn’t include that… BTW what is “bless money”?)

here’s a link - keep in mind that these kids won money which goes to equip a science classroom, and doesn’t come out of that taxpayers pocket.

It would seem that RBMS is being judged by outside agencies and is winning - what standard were you hoping to apply?

@ OMG - I guess we’ll look at the charter site to see what our tax dollars didn’t buy. Although the charter school is a tremendous drain on our tax coffers, they don’t seem to be able to win much. The middle school has won 5 out of the last five video competitions, taking in over $40,000 in prizes and technology. technology is included in CCCS - but I guess charter doesn’t have to use state standards…. Whiner.

My public school had a live production studio, and classes to go along with it. Besides the people who just had a great learning experience, the program sent many kids to college to continue their studies, and produced many professionals in the field.

So please don’t be so quick to dismiss this work as worthless. Hey, they already made $3,000 bucks for their program.

Samantha is a welcome addition to the Children’s Room at the library. I’m excited to see her energy and ideas in action. My kids are fans of “Miss Sam” because she has brought some great programs to the library and knows all the new books! We look forward to getting more and more joy out of our library.
