RED BANK: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT LEAD POISONING
October 11, 7:00 am to 8:30 pm
In the wake of the crisis in Flint, Michigan, many parents are concerned about the danger of lead poisoning and water safety, and understandably want to know what’s happening here in New Jersey, and Red Bank in particular.
In cooperation with the borough Environmental Commission and Green Team, the library will host a panel on ‘Lead Poisoning: What You Need to Know,’ in the historic Eisner Room.
The panel will feature New Jersey state director of Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund Amy Goldsmith; toxicologist and former bureau chief of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Roy Meyer; and Red Bank public utilities director Cliff Keen.
Registration is not required.
