RED BANK: MAKING FILMS FROM NONFICTION

The Red Bank Public Library hosts author and screenwriter Austin Bunn for a free talk on “Writing from Fact,” described as a “short craft class on adapting true stories to fiction and film.”

Bunn, the author of a short story collection titled “The Brink,” has written for the New York Times Magazine and The Atlantic. He’s also written feature screenplays for Fox 2000, Lionsgate, and Page1, and teaches at Cornell University.

The event includes a screening of Bunn’s award-winning short documentary, “In the Hollow.”
