RED BANK: METALWORKS BY MICHAEL MALPASS
October 17, 2021, 3:00 pm
Sculptor Michael Malpass worked in metal and was primarily concerned with creating spheres made of forged and welded steel, bronze, copper, nickel silver or brass. At his death in 1991, he also left behind a sizable number of free-standing abstract figures, as well as etchings and plates, and unique pendants and rings.
Working closely with his widow, Cathleen Malpass, the Oyster Point Gallery presents a talk about Malpass’s work in conjunction with an exhibit that runs into early November.
The event is free. Everyone is invited. Masks are encouraged.
