We have 11 Civil War US Colored Troops buried at Cedar View along with over 200 African American who resided and helped to build Middletown and Monmouth County.\nThe Cemetery\, which includes the grave of a formerly enslaved Civil War veteran who died in Red Bank\, is located next to St. Leo’s on Hurley’s Lane and across from the Lincroft First Aid Squad.\nIt is always a nice service and a wonderful time to reflect on ALL who have served and sacrificed for our Country.
