Darwin Day Forum: What is Life?

Red Bank, January 26, 2026 – The Red Bank Humanists (RBH) will host our annual Darwin Day Forum featuring a talk by Ron Flannery entitled “What is Life?” on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, from 10:30 AM to noon at the Shrewsbury Historical Society,
419 Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.

The forum will address the following questions:
• How did life originally emerge?
• Can life be simulated in a meaningful way?
• Why does evolution go from simple to complex?
• Is life computational?
