JAWS: 50th anniversary art show

CODA, in conjunction with Popcore, Universal Studios and
Amblin Entertainment, are pleased to present an officially
licensed art exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of
Steven Spielberg’s seminal film, JAWS.
When JAWS premiered in 1975, it didn’t just redefine the
thriller genre, it completely changed Hollywood filmmaking.
The first true summer blockbuster, Steven Spielberg’s
masterful direction combined with John Williams’ iconic
score created a sensory experience that forever changed how
audiences engage with the silver screen. The film’s influence
can be found throughout popular culture, from dramatic suspense building techniques to the
marketing strategies that now dominate the industry. JAWS also marked a turning point in the
psychological portrayal of fear and nature in media, turning the ocean into both a literal and
metaphorical abyss.
Join us this Summer in the picturesque seaside town of Red Bank, New Jersey for an exhibition
featuring original artwork, limited edition prints, and more.
