LINCROFT: ARCHIVES AND HISTORY DAY

Monmouth County hosts the County Clerk’s 27th Annual Archives and History Day in the Robert J. Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College.
The theme of this year’s Archives and History Day is “Monuments and Markers in Monmouth County,” a way to call attention to the numerous historical statues, signs, and symbols in our communities that commemorate Monmouth County’s storied past and peoples.
In addition to more than fifty exhibitors, representing historical societies and groups from across the County and New Jersey, the event will feature a keynote address from Monmouth University’s Dr. Richard Veit, a presentation of awards, and the unveiling of the namesake “Monuments and Markers in Monmouth County” exhibit.
