Melba Moore, Tony Award winner and four-time Grammy nominated R&B artist, will appear for a VIP
Meet & Greet Fundraiser, on May 9, at 3 PM.
Tickets are $50 with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Fortune Cultural Center. Light refreshments will be served and
Moore’s recent memoir “This Is It: Marvelous and Getting Better,” with Kevin E. Taylor is
included.
At 4:30 PM, Moore will be in conversation with Gilda Rogers, Executive Director of the
Fortune Cultural Center, about her life and new book. This portion of the event is free
and open to the public, to be followed by a book signing.
