RED BANK: CHAMBER MUSIC SOCIETY FREE CONCERT

The Red Bank Chamber Music Society presents a classical music concert featuring the acclaimed Escher String Quartet.

The quartet will perform three works, each with an evocative nickname. The program starts with Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet No 53, known as the “Lark” Quartet. This is followed by Leoš Janáček’s String Quartet No. 2, “Intimate Letters.” The final piece on the program, Schubert’s String Quartet No. 14, is famously known as “Death and the Maiden.”
