RED BANK: CHARTER STUDY COMMISSION

Red Bank’s Charter Study Commission meets on the first Wednesday and third Tuesday of each month to review the current borough form of government and recommend possible changes for voter approval.

On the agenda for this meeting:

• Professor Julia Sass-Rubin of the Edward Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy Rutgers University for a discussion of New Jersey’s ballot design and its impacts on the openness of partisan primaries.

• Democratic and Republican party chairs in non-partisan municipalities: Angela Ahbez Anderson, chair of Asbury Park Democratic party; Giuseppe ‘Joe’ Grillo, former chair of the Asbury Park Democratic; and Republican party chair.
