RED BANK: CINCO DE MAYO DANCE PARTY

The Count Basie Center for the Arts hosts a Cinco de Mayo dance party at The Vogel.
The event features Red Bank’s own DJ Magic One, playing Latin hits; Osmar Duque y Su Atractivo Sierreño playing Banda music; Sonido Karabana & Danjey; and mariachi singer Palomo Rios.
Also performing will be the Basie Center’s community dancers from Calpulli Mexican Dance Company, the New York-based Mexican folkloric dance troupe which has provided Mexican dance lessons at the Count Basie Center since 2016.
Authentic Mexican cuisine will be sold courtesy of Red Bank’s Azteca Grill, Lakewood’s La Mixteca, plus Asbury Park eateries Tic Taco Taqueria and Mayan Restaurant. Additional vendors selling artisanal items will also be on hand.
