RED BANK: ‘POSTCARD FROM SOUTH AFRICA’

The T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center hosts “A Postcard from South Africa,” featuring discussion led by the center’s executive director, Gilda Rogers, who recently returned from South Africa.
The event spotlights images from Rogers’ visit to the Apartheid Museum in Soweto; to the Cradle of Humankind, where visitors walk in the footsteps of their hominin ancestors; and to Robben Island, where President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years.
This event is open to the public, with a $12 suggested donation.
