RED BANK: ‘PERIPHERA’ AT GALERIE LUCIDA

Galerie Lucida hosts ‘Periphera,’ an exhibition of contemporary realism by local and regional artists who convene periodically to paint “en plein air,” yet maintain distinct and diverse studio practices.
The show runs from April 19 through June 1, with a reception for the artists on Friday, April 19, from 6 to 9 p.m., in conjunction with the start of Garden State Art Weekend.
The show features works by Jordan Baker, Kathleen Beausoleil, Brooks Frederick, Kristin Künc, Lisa Lebofsky, JaFang Lu, Richard T. Scott, Hyeseung Song and Charis J. Carmichael Braun, whose “Surveying” is shown above.
