RED BANK: LIBRARY HOSTS COMPUTER LAB
May 23, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
The Red Bank Public Library’s Labor and Literacy Lab is now recruiting for its nine-week Internet Core Computing Certification (IC3) course.
Running from May 23 to July 21, the free, in-person boot camp offers entry-level computer training with instructor-led classes taught in English. It provides 12 hours of instruction each week, with classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The program, along with the library’s job assistance (one-on-one tutoring, GED prep, mock interviews and more), is available to anyone, regardless of whether they have a library card.
Register for it here.
The lab is funded by a grant by the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences and the New Jersey State Library.
