RUMSON: ECO-FEST ON THE RIVER

Clean Ocean Action, the Rumson Environmental Commission and Rally for the Two Rivers Alliance partners host the free, family-fun Rally for the Two Rivers Eco-Fest on Saturday.

This environmental celebration of the Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers will feature hands-on educational activities and eco-friendly crafts from Little Silver Environmental Commission, Rumson Junior Green Team, American Littoral Society, Monmouth County Parks, Navesink Maritime Heritage Association, NY/NJ Baykeeper, River Rats Sailing, Rumson Garden Club, RFH Project Terrapin, NJ Sea Grant, Save Coastal Wildlife, Waterspirit and more. Kids can take the Environmental Passport Challenge to unlock special rewards from local businesses. This year’s Eco-Fest is made possible by Sea Bright Solar, Bayshore Recycling, and Mazza Recycling.
