SHREWSBURY: PREPARING SENIORS FOR EMERGENCIES
October 11, 2023, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Are you ready for emergencies? This program, presented by Eugene P. Hannafey, Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office, will teach seniors the importance of planning for emergencies.
During the program, participants will be provided with a family disaster plan booklet with space for personal, family, work, medical, insurance, emergency and evacuation related information. Once the booklet is completed and reviewed, participants will be provided with an emergency supply kit which includes basic necessities for use during an emergency.
This is a two-part program; Participants must attend both sessions to receive the emergency supply kit. Part one takes place Wednesday, October 11 at 1:30 pm. part two takes place Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 1:30 pm.
