A town square for an unsquare town

Standing for the vitality of Red Bank, its community, and the fun we have together.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN THIS?

Where_121808_ir

A cadre of ready-for-winter ‘Where’ regulars had no trouble identifying last week’s image.

From Michele Lombard, who’s apparently electrified by what the object in the photo portends:

COULD IT BE OUR TOWN’s Prized Logo, the ICEBOAT IN FULL HOLIDAY REGALIA????AH, I WILL TAKE MY GUESS AT THAT ONE!
Riverside Gardens Park overlooking the Navesink and Praying for a Frozen River and a Van Nostrand REMATCH and the Launching of the Long awaited Ice Boat that has been worked on by Our Town’s Ice Boat Club and my pals from the Hudson River Ice Boat Club/and Ricky’s Beloved Rokeby Fleet????

We also got this email, from Carl Colmorgen:

This WHERE must be an early Christmas present from redbankgreen.com.
This Christmas decoration or do I have to say Holiday decoration is the
true symbol of the Boro of Red Bank. Placing an iceboat with lights at
Riverside Garden Park is an excellent idea as the iceboat is the center
piece of our seal.

Great going redbankgreen.com for making this a WHERE

Trish DePonti, Fran Waldmann, J.C. Kelly, Alex Turoczi, Jim Fitzmaurice, Bob Colmorgen, Pam Borghi, Fred Blumberg, Dayna Stein and Quin Bowler also had no difficulty overcoming the trickery of of our close-up shot. Thanks for writing in, all.
