FAIR HAVEN HOSTS A FEBRUARY LUAU

Press release from The Foundation of Fair Haven

fh-tiki-8167709Grab your best Hawaiian shirt, and come have some summer-style fun during the frosty days of February — when The Foundation of Fair Haven hosts an encore edition of last year’s successful Tiki Haven Luau event on Saturday, February 27.

Back by popular demand, the fundraiser for future Fair Haven Days takes place from 6:30 to 10:30 pm inside the hall of the Knights of Columbus – Red Bank Council 3187 at 200 Fair hHaven Road. Attendees age 21 and over are invited to shake off the cold; enjoy an evening that features traditional luau food (such as pulled pork and delicious fixins’ prepared by our outstanding food crew and local restaurants), music, a 50/50 raffle, auctions, and games (including a chance to try out the limbo).

“It looks like we may have started yet another wonderful tradition, that began with our 2012 Centennial Celebration,” said FH Foundation President and Borough Councilwoman Susan Sorensen. “With winter in full swing, we all could use a bit of Summer Fun!”

A very dedicated committee has been hard at work for many months. They are excited to have great support from many of the local community businesses —and they encourage all residents support our local business association and “Think Local”.

Tickets to the 2016 Tiki Haven Luau are $50 per person (includes food, beer, wine and soft drinks; a cash bar will also be available for the duration of the event). To reserve, email [email protected] or purchase in person at Fair Haven Borough Hall during regular hours of operation (closed Presidents Day, February 15).
