For those who don’t get the meaning of a handheld stop sign, Red Bank crossing guard Diane Johnson amplifies the message with some colorful outfits.
Not that her approach is 100-percent effective, says Johnson, seen here Monday afternoon at Maple Avenue and Peters Place.
“They still don’t stop,” she says of some motorists.
