Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was a close up of the word “Girls” over one of the entrances to the Red Bank Middle School. The building was built in 1917 and served for decades as Red Bank High School. It was typical in those days for schools to have separate entrances for boys and girls.
One person guessed it was Red Bank Catholic and another guessed it was the former TK . Another person almost guessed it was RBC saying, “the crosses give me pause.” But they correctly went with the middle school. Close one! Another swing and a miss came from someone who guessed it is the old Mechanic Street school, now an office building. All wrong guessers have to clap the erasers out in the cold!
