Here’s the answer to last week’s “Where.”
Last week’s photo was a close up of one of one of 15 disembodied blue-faced heads floating on the mural on the side of Mother Knitter, a yarn and knitting supply shop at 97 Broad Street. It’s a little weird. In a town confronted with a worsening shortage of weirdness, we like it.
‘Where’ regular Sue Noone thought the face looked like actor Adam Scott and wondered if that was intentional. Another person guessed incorrectly this photo was taken at Lunch Break, which also has a large mural on the front wall of the building.
The mural was painted a few years back as part of the annual Indie Street Film Festival. which returns to Red Bank next month for its 11th year. A you can see from the snow on the ground, this one’s been sitting in our stash for a few months. But it’s a reminder on this 100-degree day that it won’t be long before we’re complaining about the cold weather.
