Be careful with your brewskies, broskies.
Red Bank police are doing DWI checks tonight, part of a state-wide “Over The Limit, Under Arrest” crackdown.
Between 11p and 3a, cars will be pulled over on Riverside Avenue, near Allen Place, and tested for sobriety.
Here’s the full text of the press release sent by RBPD:
On Thursday August 26, 2010 the Red Bank Police Department will be conducting a DWI checkpoint as part of their involvement in the Over the Limit Under Arrest Statewide Crackdown. Police officers will be checking motorists on Riverside Avenue near Allen Place from 11pm until 3am. The checkpoint will be conducted utilizing funding provided by the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety.
Fair Haven, too, is cracking down. The borough recently received state grant money to put more cops on the road to nab drivers who are over the legal limit (0.08 percent).
