Got some ideas about how to improve the Red Bank school district? Ready to shed the anonymity of redbankgreen comments and put your money where your mouth is?

The board of ed has a pair openings to fill.

One is a result of board veep Juanita Lewiselection to the borough council, which took effect yesterday. Her board term expires in April 2009. By statute, one may not serve on both the board and council.

The other seat was held by Ann Goldman, who was elected as a write-in candidate in 2007 and has submitted a letter of resignation for personal reasons. Her term expires in April 2010.

RED BANK BOROUGH BOARD OF EDUCATION
LEGAL NOTICE
The Red Bank Borough Board of Education is seeking applicants to fill two Board vacancies, one term ending April 2009 and one term ending April 2010. Individuals interested in applying for either of these vacancies should complete the interest form which is available on the district website (www.rbb.k12.nj.us), Red Bank Primary School, 222 River St., Red Bank, Red Bank Middle School, 101 Harding Rd , the administration building, 76 Branch Ave, or the Red Bank Public Library, 84 W. Front St. A letter of interest and the completed form are to be sent to Annie Darrow, School Business Administrator, Red Bank Borough Public Schools, 76 Branch Avenue, Red Bank, NJ 07701, no later than January 5, 2009. Board members must be U. S. citizens, residents of the Borough of Red Bank for one year, registered qualified voters, and must not hold membership in the municipal governing body.
