A Red Bank police officer tells a customer the bank is closed yesterday afternoon. A surveillance camera got a photo of the suspect in the noontime heist.
Authorities released this photo of a man they say robbed the Sovereign Bank branch at Broad Street and East Bergen Place at around noon Wednesday.
His description as reported by the Asbury Park Press, citing First Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Peter E. Warshaw:
The suspect was described as a thin white man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing a black shirt with skull designs and a baseball style hat with a Dr. Pepper logo.
