RED BANK: The Womans Club of Red Bank hosts the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation‘s Juke Joint Johnnys Birthday Bash to raise money for the JSJBF and Womans Club Scholarship programs. The Anthony Reckless estate will be open for a night of entertainment and relaxation. Guests can sit on the porch or roam through the beautiful rooms of the estate while listening to jazz and blues music in a warm setting. The event is BYOB and light snacks will be served. The event will run from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. and admission is a suggested $10 donation. 164 Broad Street.

RED BANK: Triple Threat: The Philippines Biggest Stars bring comedy and music from half a world away to the Count Basie Theatre. The team consists of award-winning movie star and singer Piolo Pascual, comedienne Pokwang and TV star/pop singer Angeline Quinto. Tickets range from $60, $85, $100, $120. 99 Monmouth Street.
MIDDLETOWN: The American Association of University Women hold their weekly used-book sale in the basement of the Old First Church in Middletown from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. selling childrens books, best sellers, paperbacks, DVDs and more at bargain prices. 69 Kings Highway.
MIDDLETOWN: The Middletown Township Police Athletic League puts up its dukes with the 2013 New Jersey Golden Gloves Amateur Boxing Championship tournament. Competitors from ages 8 to 34 will compete for a chance to advance to the state finals, which will take place on April 20 in Newark. Ticket prices range from $15 to $35. LINCROFT: The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County in Lincroft hosts author Merry Brennan as part of its March series guest speaker events, in a discussion of the late activist ‘Peace Pilgrim’ and her seven cross country walking trips to promote peace.
