LINCROFT: KIDS ON CAMPUS AT BCC

peytonlist-5718107The Guest List: Disney Channel series JESSIE co-star Peyton List comes to the campus of Brookdale College on Sunday, as special attraction at a day-long “Kidabaloo.”

“Are your kids going crazy stuck inside in the cold weather?” ask the producers of Kidabaloo, the daylong “explosion of fun, laughter and excitement” that commandeers the Collins Arena (on the Lincroft campus of Brookdale Community College) this Sunday, February 8.

A presentation of the Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center, this first-ever event pairs a panorama of all-seasons, all-ages activities with a spacious indoor setting — BCC’s Robert J. Collins Arena, a venue with enough run, hop and tumble room to accommodate everything from remote control car races and live animals, to moon bounces and a demonstration by the team from Olympiad Gymnastics.

There’s more in store between the hours of noon to 5 pm — including face painting, balloon animals and costumed characters by Chubby Penguin Parties; arts and crafts; a visit with the Frost Buddy Ice Princesses at Sparkle Diva Studios; video games in the Gamin’ Ride truck, and lessons in cupcake decorating, juggling and tightrope walking. There’s also an event stage, where Kidabaloo welcomes a special guest star from the TV’s Jessie.

Teen actress Peyton List, who co-stars as Emma on the Disney Channel series, will appear at 1:30 pm for a brief Q&A session with audience members. After that, she’ll be heading to the second level of the arena for a session of autographs and photo ops that runs from 1:45 to 4 pm.

Take it here to reserve tickets ($5 adults, $10 kids ages 2-17), as well as for info on $25 Family 4-Pack admissions. Children under the age of 2 are admitted free, and there’s free parking in BCC’s parking lots 6 and 7.
