Spotlight-avoiding donors have dropped $5 million into the coffers of Riverview Medical Center‘s foundation, the latest in a recent series of big-dollar contributions to the Red Bank facility.
Here’s the announcement, issued late Monday afternoon:

Friday night’s Art Walk in Red Bank, the latest in a series, comes with a twist: guerrilla displays of creativity.
With the blessing of Art Walk’s organizers, a group of artists who wish to remain anonymous plan to stage an alternative, if symbiotic show that’s off the map, both spacially and aesthetically.
Maybe we’re just in a wintry mood, with the furnace burning through the heating budget way earlier in the season than expected.
Or maybe it’s lingering remnants of the frustration that led us to impose radio silence on our comments forum last week.
But none of the comments posted between last Monday and late Thursday jumped out at us as particularly noteworthy. So we’re not spotlighting any this week.
