MERCHANTS MINGLE FOR LITTLE SILVER DAY

PrintPress release from Culinary Communications

Little Silver residents and business owners who are interested in becoming contributing sponsors of the inaugural Little Silver Day are invited to attend a cocktail party on Friday, February 5, to meet with event organizers and discuss sponsorship options.

During the event, going on between 7 to 11 pm at the borough firehouse on Prospect Avenue, local merchants will have the opportunity to meet members of the event’s steering committee, and learn more about this summer’s inaugural Little Silver Day, a festival of food, fun and fireworks for all borough residents.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 25, Little Silver Day will feature an afternoon of live music, children’s events, food and adult beverages, and will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the night sky (the rain date is Sunday, June 26). The event, which will be held at the borough’s fields behind Borough Hall and between the library and the Markham Place School,  is expected to attract about 1,000 locals, and will be free to Little Silver residents (with nominal fees charged for food and beverages to help support the staging of the event).
