RED BANK: ACCIDENT KNOCKS OUT POWER

JCP&L reported between 100 and 500 customers in Red Bank had no electrical service Monday morning, more than 12 hours after a disruption caused by an accident on Catherine Street.

ON THE GREEN: BROOKDALE BUS LINES MERGED

rb bus 112115Commuting to Brookdale Community College in Lincroft via New Jersey Transit bus will no longer require a transfer in Red Bank under a new route alignment announced Tuesday. According to the report, the 833 and 835 routes will be merged into a new route numbered 838, “providing commuters from Freehold, Sea Bright, Rumson, Fair Haven and eastern Red Bank with a ‘one-seat’ ride to the Lincroft campus” by eliminating a transfer, according to the Asbury Park Press.  (Photo by John T. SHREWSBURY: STUDENTS UNHURT IN ACCIDENT

shrews accident 120115A schoolbus carrying students to Red Bank Regional High was one of three vehicles involved in an accident at Broad Street and Newman Springs Road in Shrewsbury at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday. No students were injured, according to police Lieutenant Bob Turner. One occupant of another vehicle was transported to Riverview Medical Center on complaints of pain, he said.   (Reader photo. MINOR INJURIES AS BUS FLIPS ON PARKWAY

A tour bus overturned on the Garden State Parkway in Middletown this morning.

According to CBS 3 of Philadelphia, three of the 30 passengers on board incurred minor injuries in the 5:30a accident, which occurred in the southbound lanes just south of exit 114. The Asbury Park Press, though, reports six injuries out of 30 to 35 passengers.
