First Baptist Church of Red Bank plans to hold a rummage sale Saturday. Featuring “racks filled with ladies and men’s slick styles, children’s fine fashions, electronics, furniture, appliances and lots of gadgets,” the sale opens at 8:30 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m.

At least two Red Bank operations will be feeding those in need of a hot meal for Christmas.
On Wednesday, Christmas Eve, from 6 to 8 p.m., JR’s Burgers on West Front Street will be giving out free burgers, sodas and fries.
You have to love an event advertised as “something that will start on time and be over in a flash,” even if the weather drives it indoors, as happened with the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the First Baptist Church of Red Bank Saturday.
