A GREAT EXCUSE TO ‘GO NAKED’

go-naked-1-2011-500x375The third annual Go Naked and Check Yourself event for cancer awareness and prevention returns to Red Bank on November 24, with a “fun and flirty charity event” at Red Restaurant & Lounge.

It’s an annual event that addresses a serious, life-and-death sort of topic: bringing awareness to detectable forms of cancer, and promoting simple self-examination procedures.

It’s also a “fun and flirty” night on the town in which attendees mingle, enjoy drink specials, bid on prizes and share close proximity with “lingerie and boxer clad models…no nudity of course.”

A partnership between two Red Bank retail businesses —  Chris Paseka’s cupcake emporium Sugarush, and Angela Courtney’s lingerie purveyor Sweetest Sin Boutique — with the Two River Times, the fundraiser known as Go Naked and Check Yourself comes to red restaurant & lounge for the first time on the evening of November 24, in the third edition of an event that’s raised more than $20,000 for local and national cancer charities, and which has sold out in each of the past two years.
