Eleven years after moving in, dramatically shrunken homebuilder Hovnanian Enterprises is selling its gleaming Red Bank headquarters and moving to Matawan, redbankgreen has learned.
Red Bank Catholic’s Eddie Hahn scored 18 to pass the 1,000-point career milestone as the Caseys keep their Shore Conference Tournament hopes alive at home Tuesday.
Hahn hit back-to-back three-pointers in the fourth quarter to reach the milestone and give RBC a 12-point lead. Matawan stormed back and closed it to within two late in the game, but Evan Madigan closed the game out with free throws and give the Caseys a 67-63 win. With a 9-11 record, RBC can make the tournament field with wins against Jackson Liberty on Friday and Saint John Vianney on Saturday.
With both teams coming in at 5-0, the Red Bank Catholic at Red Bank Regional football clash stoked expectations Friday night. And the crosstown rivalry delivered the drama.

How did your high school football team do Friday night? Pretty darn well, if you’re talking about Rumson-Fair Haven, Red Bank Catholic or Red Bank Regional, as this monster highlight reel from Shore Sports Zone shows.
Playing at home, the R-FH Bulldogs topped the Matawan Huskies 17-0 in a game with a scoreless second half. Quarterback Michael O’Connor connected with sophomore receiver Elijah McAllister for a 16-yard touchdown pass: check it out at the start of the reel.
Fast-forward to 5:50 if you’re in a rush to see how Eddie Hahn and the 2014 state champion RBC Caseys played against St. Joe’s of Metuchen. A week after putting the Caseys in the capable hands of backup QB Colin Shaughnessy, Hahn returned from injury for his first appearance of the season by tossing three TDs, including a 49-yarder to Mike Wilen, who also ripped an 80-yard TD run against the Falcons.
Then zap ahead to 9:40 to see highlights of Colts Neck at RBR, where a Matt Reardon interception sparked an offensive blitzkrieg that ended with a 30-0 blowout win for the Bucs, their second straight.
