R-FH, RBC & RBR POST CONVINCING WINS

How did your high school football team do Friday night? Pretty darn well, if you’re talking about Rumson-Fair Haven, Red Bank Catholic or Red Bank Regional, as this monster highlight reel from Shore Sports Zone  shows.

Playing at home, the R-FH Bulldogs topped the Matawan Huskies 17-0 in a game with a scoreless second half. Quarterback Michael O’Connor connected with sophomore receiver Elijah McAllister for a 16-yard touchdown pass: check it out at the start of the reel.

Fast-forward to 5:50 if you’re in a rush to see how Eddie Hahn and the 2014 state champion RBC Caseys played against St. Joe’s of Metuchen. A week after putting the Caseys in the capable hands of backup QB Colin Shaughnessy, Hahn returned from injury for his first appearance of the season by tossing three TDs, including a 49-yarder to Mike Wilen, who also ripped an 80-yard TD run against the Falcons.

Then zap ahead to 9:40 to see highlights of Colts Neck at RBR, where a Matt Reardon interception sparked an offensive blitzkrieg that ended with a 30-0 blowout win for the Bucs, their second straight. QB Jack Navitsky and WR Sadiq Palmer had another standout game. (Video courtesy of Shore Sports Zone)
