The Turning Point’s lobster benedict is merely one Great Food way in which to support the Great Cause of the Kortney Rose Foundation — as the restaurants’ eleven locations team up to fundraise for the locally based nonprofit on the weekend of February 27 and 28.
Press release from Culinary Communications
From its very first location in downtown Little Silver, to an expanding network of daytime restaurants throughout New Jersey, Turning Point has made itself at home wherever it’s put down roots — and for the seventh consecutive year, Turning Point’s founders are partnering with a grass-roots nonprofit in their home community, for a fundraising initiative entitled “Great Food for a Great Cause.”
Between the hours of 8 am to 3 pm on Saturday, February 27 and Sunday, February 28, all 11 Turning Point locations will invite their dining guests to make a donation to Kortney Rose Foundation, the organization (founded, in memory of their late daughter, by Kristen and Rich Gillette of Oceanport) dedicated to raising funds for pediatric brain tumor research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Guests who donate a minimum of $25 to KRF on either of those two days will receive in return a Turning Point gift card, good for two entrées to be used any time in the future.
