Pre-K children whose families reside in Red Bank can have access to activities such as swim classes, under a newly expanded program at The Community YMCA.
Press release from The Community YMCA
The Community YMCA is expanding their Healthy Kids membership to include pre-kindergarten students. The healthy living initiative gives all Red Bank youth a special free membership and access to family activities at the Family Health and Wellness Center, located at 166 Maple Avenue in Red Bank.
The program provides opportunities for children to stay active and develop healthy habits by spending time at the Y. This marks the fourth year that this no-cost membership has been offered to all Red Bank schoolchildren up to 8th grade.
“We have had much success with the Healthy Kids Membership for the last four years,” said Rhonda Anderson, The Community YMCA President and CEO. “Expanding the program to include pre-k is a natural progression, one that I’m sure will help many families feel confident that their children are in a safe place where they can learn, grow and thrive,” she added.
