Megan Reardon of Little Silver, a Red Bank Regional High School track and field javelin thrower, will soon be realizing a dream come true: to play on the Division I track and field team at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
As a sophomore in 2012, Megan clinched the Shore Conference Championship in Javelin with a 125.5” throw. She went on to set a new school record for Javelin at 127.9” in her Junior year. She placed second in the Monmouth County and sectional meets in 2013, and qualified to compete in the Penn Relays and Meet of Champions. She has received varsity letters all her years of competition.
