A distraught Red Bank man looks on as volunteer firefighters put out the fire that engulfed his work van Thursday morning on Harding Road in front of Tower Hill Church.
The man, who did not wish to be identified, said he was a painter who relies on the truck for his livelihood. He said he was en route from his daughter’s pre-k graduation to work when the van caught fire.
It is likely a total loss.
